About Us
The Greater Waco Advanced Manufacturing Academy was created though a collaboration with the Waco Business League, Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce, Texas State Technical College, and area manufacturing businesses. Our shared goal was and is to provide the conduit for students in grades 10-12 to receive experiential training in the highly technical world of manufacturing. We will continue to impact the manufacturing workforce by creating pathways for high school students to earn industry recognized certifications, hands-on experience, and trades skills. Career, College, and/or Military Readiness is our primary focus for student advancement.

GWAMA Certifications
The Greater Waco Advanced Manufacturing Academy offers advanced technical and manufacturing training for high school students. Industry based certifications increase student marketability in our global society. Our half-day STEM program is compatible with all school districts to ensure that students continue to experience a full high school program without sacrificing personal interests . We pride ourselves in hosting students who earn industry certifications as well as participate in band, cheer, sports, and other extra curricular activities.

- Construction Science Adademy - NCCER - National Center for Construction Education and Research- Carpentry Level 1 Certification
- Electronics and Robotics - Certified SolidWorks Associate & Fanuc Robot Operator

Capacity Building
The Greater Waco Advanced Manufacturing Academy provides the curriculum, equipment, qualified instructors, tools, and business partners necessary to train the highly skilled workforce that advanced manufacturers need.
Stakeholders (school districts, business partners, students, and parents) define the specific skills and knowledge needed to complete the work that these businesses desire in their workforce.
